Professional parallel adjustable scriber (criser) is designed for marking on the skin (by punching a groove) seam lines, parallel lines, creasing (grooves, at a given distance from the edge of the skin), as well as for applying equidistant markings for piercing holes. The distance between the punched lines or between the edge of the skin and the marking line can be from 0 to 20 mm and is adjusted with a special screw. Unlike unregulated kreezers, this tool works "cold" and is not intended for heating. The working edge of the marker has a rounding radius of 40mm and chamfers at 45 degrees without a sharp edge for more efficient punching of the skin.
Creasing, recessed strictly parallel seams and other types of decorative finishes produced using various types of kreezers make the appearance of leather products more attractive and expensive.
