T2

T2 is the most widely used sharpening stone series from Boride. The popularity of the T2 series is due to its versatility - it is the best solution for working with stainless steels and is also recommended for use with carbon and high alloy (quick cut) steels. The T2 has the hardest bond of any Boride sharpening stone series. This is an advantage, since it increases the working life of the stone and simplifies its maintenance (less often it is necessary to resort to the alignment procedure. However, due to the hardness of the bond, the T2 series has a limitation on the hardness of the processed steels - no higher than 60-61HRC (plus / minus by composition of steel).T2 series - impregnated. That is, the inter-abrasive space of the stone is impregnated with a special technical wax to prevent liquid from entering the stone. Also, impregnation reduces the tendency to blockage and significantly increases the working life of the stone.
