Muslin circles are made from high-quality cotton fabric. They are distinguished by color (each of which corresponds to the class of fineness of processing and density of muslin), diameter and number of layers (thickness). The most popular sizes of muslin circles used in the knife industry are circles with an outer diameter of 150mm with 50 layers. Polishing of metal, steel surfaces, polishing of stainless steel, non-ferrous and precious metals, jewellery, natural stones, ceramics, polishing of glass, plastics and other surfaces are areas of application for muslin polishing pads.

Muslin blue circles are the densest.
Outer diameter 150 mm
Inner diameter 6mm
Number of layers 50 pcs.

Blue muslin wheels have high hardness and are used with medium-grain abrasive pastes (Dialux, diamond and elbor pastes, etc.) for final grinding and rough polishing of any materials. The strength of the disc is given by a special impregnation composition and stitching with threads to the diameter of the disc.

Muslin yellow discs are of medium density and are used for pre-polishing.
Outer diameter 150 mm
Inner diameter 6mm
Number of layers 50 pcs.
Yellow cloth wheels are used for the initial polishing stage with abrasive pastes. The strength of the disc is given by a special composition of impregnation and stitching with threads along the diameter of the disc.

White muslin fabric is a very soft material, which consists of layers of the most delicate fabric. These wheels are designed for final finishing polishing and cleaning of polished surfaces from the remnants of the polishing process with a yellow circle.
Outer diameter 150 mm
Inner diameter 6mm
Number of layers 50 pcs
White cloth wheels are made of very fine, high quality muslin and are used with or without fine polishing paste in the final stages of polishing. Very soft. The strength of the disk is given by threading along the diameter of the disk.

The use of muslin pads of different densities must be matched to the abrasive grit class of the polishing paste. It is not recommended, for example, to use coarse abrasive paste with white muslin circles. At the same time, the use of a fine-grained polishing paste for rough grinding with a blue muslin cloth wheel will be ineffective.

For each type of paste and type of material being processed, there must be a muslin circle. At the same time, if the muslin circle is supposed to be reused, then its re-fixation should be carried out so that the rotation of the circle is carried out in the same direction as initially, so that during rotation the pile fibers fit in the same direction as the first time. To do this, usually a marker on the circle draws an arrow indicating the direction of rotation. When polishing surfaces, it is desirable to change the position of the workpiece relative to the circle more often so that the remaining risks overlap each other at different angles. Thus, abrasive processing will be carried out more efficiently.
