A very simple and very inexpensive device that allows you to use any standard laser pointer with a 2xAAA power supply as an emitter. This device is designed for a knife blade width up to 55mm.
 
 Unlike previous versions, the Master goniometer has two adjustments in its design: the first adjustment is the ability to move the RC of the blade horizontally, which allows you to fine-tune to the beam regardless of the thickness and geometry of the blade. The second adjustment is to rotate the goniometer scale exactly around the RC knife to obtain an accurate symmetrical picture. Now you can consider the readings calmly and thoughtfully, because you do not need to "catch" the position of the blade to get a symmetrical picture on the scale. Blade horizontal shift range is 10mm. Scale rotation range 12 degrees. This is more than enough for any blade geometry and any reasonable thickness.
