EIKASO Solingen was founded in 1926 in Solingen (Germany). The knife company's almost century-long existence in one of the most famous regions, famous for its most skilled knifemakers, is in itself a guarantee of superior quality. The name EIKASO is an abbreviation of the name of the former owner and means Eickenberg aus Solingen or Eikenberg from Solingen. In 2014, the EIKASO brand was acquired by the EDREI manufacturing company and is currently under its management.
Since 1926, EIKASO Solingen has been manufacturing a variety of cutting tools with the hallmark "Made in Solingen", which testifies to the highest quality of the products - steel and handle elements. All EIKASO products undergo strict quality control regardless of the scope of use, whether they are butcher's knives, chef's knives, professional knives with forged blades or ordinary household knives. When developing specialized meat processing knives, EIKASO Solingen uses many patented solutions from steel composition and blade shape to innovative design to improve ergonomic working conditions - increase safety and reduce stress on the hands, which reduces the feeling of fatigue during prolonged use of the knife. Polypropylene is used as the material of the handle - a material with anti-slip properties, resistant to external aggressive environments, including hot water, dirt and grease repellent, securely and tenaciously fits in the hand, which helps prevent industrial injuries.
