Round tempered glass - 400mm in diameter, 10mm thick - designed for straightening abrasive stones on silicon carbide. This is a simple, handy tool to keep your stones perfectly shaped and ready to go.
It is not recommended to use the same glass surface for coarse and fine powder fractions. On one glass it is possible to work with two fractions of powders each from its own side. The edges of the glass are chamfered for convenience and safety.
You can also stick abrasive grinding and polishing tapes on glass or mat it with silicon carbide powder with a grain size of F600 and use it as a lapping platform when sharpening and finishing, as with abrasive pastes, for example, diamond or elbor (grain size 10 microns and below), and Hlad's tumbling slurries (grit size F400 to F1200).
