Hapstone R2 universal angle clamps for the swivel mechanism are designed to shift the attachment points of the blade relative to the axis of symmetry of the swivel mechanism. So, by turning the clamps with a bend inward (sliding the clamps as tightly as possible), you can comfortably handle short blades. By turning the clamps outwards, it is possible to process longer blades than even straight clamps allow. Universal corner clamps have an extended design with spring-spring inserts made of 65G steel and an additional spacer screw. This design allows you to fix a knife in them with virtually any blade system - concave / convex descents from the butt, narrowing from the heel to the tip, etc. Straight side clamps can be combined with Y-shaped center clamps as well as corner universal clamps.
Without fixing screw, the straight side clamp has overall dimensions of 112x44x24mm. Fasteners on the bar of the rotary mechanism, the groove has a height of 13mm and a depth of 2mm. The clamp is fixed to the frame with an M5 screw. The distance between the jaws of the clamp in the untwisted state is 5mm. The maximum thickness of the butt of the clamped blade is 6mm. The key for fixing and adjusting the angle of inclination is a 4mm hexagon.
