NANIWA Lobster 3000 grit stone is a light brown (tan) stone with an average grain size of about 4 microns. This is a finishing abrasive designed to finish the cutting edge. NANIWA Lobster 3000 grit does not wear off as quickly as 220 and 1000 grit stones. 3000 grit is the optimal grit for finishing kitchen knives in order to optimally combine high cutting aggression and resistance to blunting the knife.
NANIWA Lobster series stones are an excellent choice for sharpening cutting tools in the kitchen or workshop. The NANIWA Lobster series perfectly combines the quality of NANIWA stones, the low cost and dimensions of full-size water stones.
Alignment of stones, if necessary, can be done on glass on silicon carbide powder or with the help of cleaning stones. Before any use (sharpening, leveling), the stone must be soaked for 2-3 minutes.
