Vintage Carborundum. We are pleased to offer you a rare guest in our area - this is a vintage Corborundum. As the name implies, the abrasive grain is silicon carbide. A set of two stones for the apexoid format 152x25mm is sawn from the original block of model 109S, the grain of which is designated as Fine and Coarse, which in terms of formability correspond to the line of the most popular Norton Crystolon stones. The thickness of the bars is 6mm. The stones are not glued onto forms. Both oil and water can be used as a cutting fluid for Carborundum stones. With oil, the stone works thinner, more uniformly and more comfortably.
